The Leo Medical - ProTrainings course is designed to meet and exceed the requirements for registering as a childminder or working in a childcare setting with EYFS, CSSIW, and SureStart. It is a 2-day, 12 contact hour first aid course for infants and children. This course is recommended by the HSE for all first aiders, and it also fulfills the annual first aid refresher course requirement. The Leo Medical - ProTrainings Paediatric courses are approved by councils across the UK and meet the latest learning outcomes set by the Awarding Organisations.
All of Leo Medical - ProTrainings' first aid courses fully comply with the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines for 2021, as required by the HSE. The Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) offered by Leo Medical - ProTrainings are recognized by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications.
If you're looking to save time in the classroom while still meeting the required hours, Leo Medical - ProTrainings offers a blended version of the course. This means you can complete half of the course through online video training and then attend one day in the classroom.
Additionally, this course is available as a regulated qualification.
It's important to note that the minimum age requirement for the classroom course is 14.
All of Leo Medical - ProTrainings' courses have been independently certified to conform to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines. They come with a Certified CPD Statement, a Leo Medical - ProTrainings Certificate, and for online courses, an Evidence Based Learning statement.
